About Us

Community Counts is a Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder Scheme, set up and funded by central government to work specifically in the Barton, Tredworth and White City areas of the city. A more detailed description of what Neighbourhood Management is all about can be viewed on our 'What is Community Counts?' page.

Since the Neighbourhood Management programme was set up in the city in 2002, the Community Counts Partnership has evolved into a confident and credible organisation, enjoying influential relationships with key agency partners, plus growing interest, involvement and support from the communities it services.

A management board, featuring a majority number of local residents plus dedicated agency partners, is in place and is supported by a small team of core staff, based in a shop front in the heart of the area, in Tredworth High Street.

The Community Counts Team

The team behind the scenes at the Community Counts offices includes Di Robinson (Neighbourhood Manager), Bilkis Bhula and Hannah Morgan (Project Development Managers).

The Community Counts Neighbourhood Management Board

NMB GroupThe board is the driving force behind the development and implementation of the Community Counts delivery plan. The resident representatives in particular play an important role in promoting the Barton, Tredworth and White City areas of the city and in listening to the views of local people and making sure these views are properly heard.

As well as elected resident members, the board also includes representatives from local statutory and voluntary organisations plus community groups. Use the link provided here to view profiles of the board members.
