Welcome

…to the official website of Community Counts, a Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder Scheme, set up and funded by central government to work specifically in the Barton, Tredworth and White City areas of Gloucester.

A Lasting Legacy

Throughout the duration of the programme, the work of Community Counts was aimed at ensuring local services accurately matched the needs of residents within the neighbourhood and giving local people the chance to help shape and influence these services.

A key part of this work was to ensure that any improvements were long-lasting and that the groups and networks formed during this time would continue to grow and develop in the future.

You'll find details within this website of many successful initiatives that have been developed by Community Counts. Each of these projects has had a real and sustainable impact on the local community and will continue to do so in the future.

A New Community Partnership

Residents of Barton and Tredworth have formed a new community partnership to help them continue to have a strong voice in the neighbourhood. The organisation will have close ties to Gloucester City Council's Neighbourhood Partnership team and local voluntary and community sector organisations. Visit our Community Engagement page for more information and contact details.

COMMUNITY COUNTS
